The Challenge
The client needed a dedicated Learning Management System where organisations could assign training courses to users, track progress, and manage certifications — without investing in a costly third-party LMS platform.
What We Built
Actowis built a full LMS on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and PowerPages:
- Course catalogue with browseable training library (SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Outlook and more)
- User profile pages showing name, position, department and training history
- Training progress tracking: Registered, In Progress, Completed status per course
- Admin tools for assigning courses to users and managing the content library
- Feedback and completion reporting for administrators
- Course detail pages with module breakdowns and registration button
Tech Stack: Dynamics 365 • PowerPages • JavaScript • SharePoint
The Outcome
The client now has a fully functional LMS that integrates with their existing Microsoft ecosystem at a fraction of the cost of a third-party platform. Employees can browse courses, track progress, and access training materials — while administrators manage assignments and completions from a single dashboard.
